Software Engineering Co-op · Aug – Nov 2025

FirstCity

My co-op at Al-Madina Al-Oula Company for Information Technology (شركة المدينة الأولى لتقنية المعلومات). In R&D I built a live camera-streaming API and its dashboard; then I documented TSLEEM, the company's smart meeting system.

TSLEEM, the smart meeting system

Meeting invitations, attendance by QR code and one-time password, and signed-off minutes, built with React, Laravel, MySQL and Docker. My job was to write it down so others could build, run and use it.

My TSLEEM system overview: the user zone with browsers, the application zone behind a firewall and gateway with the React front end and the OTP and audit modules, and the data zone with MySQL and logs.
My TSLEEM context diagram, lightly blurred: admins, users, external organisations and attendees around the system, with the SMS OTP service.
The context diagram: who talks to TSLEEM, and about what.

My System Design Document, System Architecture Description and Deployment Document for TSLEEM, version 1.0, November 2025.

The user manual

109 slides in Arabic, one screen at a time, every button numbered and explained. Lightly blurred: TSLEEM is an internal company product.

R&D: live camera streaming

Slide from my co-op summary: Project 1, Video Streaming API, weeks 1 to 7. Live stream prototype, camera simulator and API endpoints returning camera metadata, with a milestone table all marked complete.
From my end-of-co-op presentation: turning RTSP camera feeds into video a browser can play, with a camera simulator for testing and an API for the camera list.

Sixteen weeks

  1. Weeks 1–3RTSP research, a camera simulator, a working streaming prototype.
  2. Weeks 4–7A photo snapshot API with a storage manager, deployed to the video recorder.
  3. Weeks 8–10Monitoring systems.
  4. Weeks 11–12The TSLEEM user manual.
  5. Weeks 13–15Requirements from QA, then the system design and architecture documents.
  6. Week 16The deployment document and my final presentation.
